More Than Words
Made with and by neurodivergent community members and their allies, the goal of Project More Than Words is to serve neurodivergent individuals through the co-development of technologies for “weaving magical moments into our intimate relationships” (as suggested by our neurodivergent members). Our current focus, as co-determined with the neurodivergent community, is to see how artificial intelligence may play a part in that. For example, we are exploring how an LLM chatbot can be used to recommend the best emojis, stickers, GIFs, reels, etc., customised to a specific neurotype for a specific occasion, using ethically sourced neurodivergent preferences (i.e. asking them) and local models (so your data stays with you). As we go along, we hope to expand that to digital technologies like role-playing AI and physical artefacts using augmented reality (such as smart glasses) and AI-ready edge computers like the Arduino Q smart glasses.
